I am delighted to see Sarah Fortescue’s Jungle Fever fabric and wallpaper design in the January issue of Deco Home Germany. The visuals in this piece are wonderful, electric and powerful…the jungle and african inspired fashion and interior prints calls out, over the New Year with confidence, delight and a real energy that makes me want to take this year by the horns and go for it in all we do, design and see in the design world around us. It is wonderful to see the tappings into colour continue with such bold sophistication.
The grace of Boconnoc House this Christmas
I am delighted that you can see our Jungle Fever in Jade, fabric and wallpaper design in the November issue of House & Garden.
We are thrilled to be exhibiting at Decorex this year where we are launching collections of the most stunning fabrics and wallpapers. To mark the event we will be launching our Blue Ocean, Corals wallpaper and fabric. With its electric tones and energetic patterns, the range is fuelled by Blue Planet II, the recent David Attenborough documentary, which focuses attention on the catastrophic contamination by plastic in the world’s oceans. £1 from every sale in the Blue Ocean portfolio will go to a charity working to affect this plight.
The one fabulous things about cushions is that they can bring a room to life in seconds. They might be small, but they can be a really significant detail of a room. Last week at a clients pool house we placed an array of our scatter cushions on a beautiful sofa looking out to the pool. The result? A soft white room where colour popped to life in moments.
I am delighted to be seeing more colour in the world currently. The tropical vibe continues and with it, other influences shining through to create something a little more interesting and unique than just the jungle palm alone. The combination of culture, the colours of nature, nature itself and the use of vivid colour, blend, to form the most sensational fabric designs.
